An all-star lineup of dignitaries will converge on Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race at America’s Home for Racing, providing even more punch for the 35th running of the biggest all-star event in sports.

The action kicks off with Friday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race – which features world-renowned “Wheel of Fortune” hostess and actress Vanna White serving as grand marshal.

Before WWE Superstar R-Truth paces Saturday’s All-Star Race field as honorary pace car driver, four-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion team owner and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee team owner Joe Gibbs – who has four cars locked into the All-Star Race – will deliver the invocation.

Michael Tait, a Grammy Award-winning Christian rock singer best known for his role as the lead singer for DC Talk and the Newsboys, will perform the national anthem for NASCAR’s most spectacular showcase of speed and strategy.

Axell “Slay” Hodges, an X-Games motocross competitor and Real Moto gold medalist, will get the fun kicked into high gear by giving the command to start engines.
